Unfortunately my Man Crate, which I got for my Son-in-Law, had some damage (broken glass items) due to shipping during holidays. We were totally bummed out until I contacted Customer Service (Jon), who brought the "Merry" back to Christmas. He was more than accommodating and made it right. This company does rock and I highly recommend them to all! Wonderful gifts & great customer service!! Happy New Year guys!!!

I ordered this for my brother along with another crate for my brother-in-law. I requested both packages to be "gift wrapped." Unfortunately, this crate did not come with the wrapping. I contacted customer service immediately and they refunded me the cost. They were extremely helpful and nice. I could not have asked for better service. As for the gift, it was heavy glassware and exceeded my expectations. My brother loved the engraving of his name and initials on the gift. It was fun for the rest of the family to watch him and my brother-in-law open their gifts.

I bought this for my B-I-L and he was over the moon with excitement for this. This beat all expectations. This is the second crate I bought and I've been happy each time. This is my go to place for gifts for the men in my life. :)

My sone got this for me. Packing was a problem as they shipped three times before the decanter made it to me in one piece. Great product that really looks good with the liquor in it.

Man Crates really stepped up and shipped replacements quickly. I also wound up with three crates. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, when I received my Man Crate, it sounded like the delivery part of the movie Ace Ventura. I opened it up, and the neck of the bottle had broken. I then called the company, told them what had happened, and they sent me a complete new Man Crate in under a week.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. I love organizations that stand by their products… Especially awesome products like the Whisky Appreciation Crate.

It was broken on arrival, which was sad, but I'm still giving 5-stars because the customer service was just superb when I called. It was redelivered a couple of days later.

I think they really need to look at the packaging - it would have been worse for me if this was time-senstive. But I still can't fault the customer service.

The actual product is also really nice by the way...

All my products in Man Crate had broke upon arrival, I was so sad because I was totally looking forward to gifting it to my husband. This had nothing to do with the company itself. I did think it was odd that the packageing was not labled "fragile" That was my only complaint. I called customer service and they were more than accomidating. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! This was my third Man Crate purchase and they have exceeded expectations every time!

I bought this for my Business Partner for Christmas. He opened it a little early due to his travel schedule. He was over the moon about this. He is really into good Scotches, but he cristened it with a good bottle of Jameson.

Sent this number to my dad back home and it was big hit. You guys run a cool company, glad I found out about it! I'll be checking in from time to time to see if another crate might work for another of my family/friends! Great work! I ordered this for my sister. Yes, we like guy stuff! It took 30 mins for her and her boyfriend to open it but once they did she loved all the stuff in it. They have been getting into the whiskey thing for the last year and this fit their new hobby to a "T". She also loved her name on the glasses. As she told me "the best Xmas gift ever!"

I bought this crate as soon as it was available. It's such a great purchase! The glasses are very nicely engraved. The decanter doesn't seem as sturdy as the glasses do, but it will still dramatically pour a single-malt, which was really all I was hoping for. The coasters are solid and slick and definitely worthy of being in a man crate. Haven't broken in to the snacks yet, but I'm sure they are also awesome. Recommend highly.

We got the delivery one day early and he opened it right away. The decanter that I had customized is off center by quite a lot, it was the first thing he noticed. Everything else is awesome but I'm disappointed in that aspect.

Be aware of the ordering they etch your initials onto the decanter. They ask for the initials you want in the order of First, Last, Middle, and they etch them in that same order. For example, if your initials are ABC (first, middle, last), it will be ordered ACB with the C being large and centered on the decanter. I asked customer service before ordering, and they told me the middle initial is large and centered on the decanter, which turned out to not be the case. Now I have a decanter with the initials in an order I didn't want.

Overall though, it has a decent collection of things and the quality of the decanter and glasses is nice (although a little tough to justify the price if it's not on sale).

I got this crate for my man! He loves whiskey and I had sneakily scoped out his liquor cabinet to confirm that he didn’t already have a decanter and glasses. This seemed like the perfect gift for him. Fast forward a bit, post-order-place, pre-gift-arrival: I’m at his place, waiting for him to get ready for an event we’re going to. He tells me to pick what cufflinks I want him to wear. I noticed some with his initials in it! He then tells me, “I’ve never liked when people have initials on their clothing.” My heart stops. This is hilarious and ironic, but also THE WORST! “Oh, but just specifically on clothes??” I ask. He thinks about it before saying, “Nah, on anything. Seems cheap.” Siiiiiick! What was now the world’s greatest gift, is now the worst. Today, he opened the crate. He HAS been wanting a decanter, but I definitely don’t think he’s crazy about it. He did however find the situation absolutely hilarious. Ultimately, the quality and everything is great. He loved the snacks. It truly was a joy watching him struggle to pry open the crate. He is stoked to have a mini crow bar. The only element of the gift I thought was unnecessary and “eh,” was the whiskey journal (hence the one star off). Everything else is cool. He got me a PS4 and a cup that keeps your drink warm, so ultimately, I think he won the gift giving game... but worth the purchase if your man likes his initials on stuff!

Loved the product but beware...WHISKEY is not spelled the way it shows on their website. It is spelled WHISKY, without the E. I was told by customer service that is another correct way to spell it. It is the Scottish way to spell it. I was not happy about that due to the fact the website showed WHISKEY and I don't live in Scotland. Other than that, no issues. This will get 4 stars instead of 5.

The crate was a challenge to open- made a HUGE mess, took quite a bit of cussing, sweating and pounding...but my husband loved it once it opened. (maybe should be a BIT easier to manage)? But beautiful once achieved.

I ordered this gift for my nephew for Christmas. It arrived within a week and in great shape. I did not open to inspect it but could tell it was very well packed and could here nothing rattle when I shook the box. He was so excited when he saw the crate and crow bar to open the gift. The decanter is beautiful, but I was disappointed when I saw the glasses, they were regular glasses from "Libby" and not at all like the ones promised in the description of the set. They were not monogrammed and just plain. Over all he was happy with the gift and that makes me happy, just disappointed that it was not totally as described for that amount of money.

In my personal opinion, this gets 5 stars due to the craftsmanship and detail. I got this for my husband last Christmas. I was EXTREMELY excited for him to open it up, because he tends to splurge on alcohol towards the holidays (go figure); so I figured, "Why not get him something fancy as hell for it; he deserves it, right?" WRONG. Right as he took the decanter and glasses out, his eyes went dead. He absolutely hated it (only because that was the LAST thing that he was expecting, apparently). Needless to say, my heart shattered and the both of us were disappointed. He didn't even PRETEND to be happy about it.
Moral(s) of the story: don't get your hopes up, don't spend a shit-ton of money on your spouse, gift cards are easier, and hide the body where nobody can find it (joking).

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it and would never complain. However, it’s not really true etching. It’s barely on the surface, lines aren’t clean. You can tell the etching would be easy to wash off. I was disappointed with that especially for the price of this gift. So buyer beware. If you’re looking for true etching look elsewhere. Otherwise, the set is put together beautifully and the duct tape gift wrapping is hilarious!

They didnt put the full name on the glasses and the top of the decanter didnt fit properly.

The actual product is amazing. It looks fantastic, and the glass is etched, not painted. My husband absolutely loved it. Very disappointed in the packaging, though, since I paid extra for duct tape that wasn't there, and then it turns out it didn't even have the crowbar it's supposed to come with. Overall, I recommend the product, but I really wish the package was complete (especially the extra paid part). You can find personalized gifts elsewhere, so it was the unique packaging that was a selling point for me and it turned into a complete flop in that regard.
