My husband absolutely loved the meat crate for his birthday. We were out of town for his birthday so I brought it to the hotel with us. I wish I would have brought a hammer along with us to help wedge the crowbar in the crate, but even without the hammer it didn't take too long to open. He loved all the meats and was really excited to try each one. Great gift idea.

My Husband turned 50 and we threw a birthday bash Sept 26th 2015. This man is the hardest person to buy for, but I came acrossed this website and well purchased the Exotic Meats. This is where the best experience began. 1st the delivery was spot on. 2nd everything looked just like the picture, and 3rd it was just so fun to watch him TRY to open this. After 15+ minutes of trying he let two women try to open it and guess what? Yup two women got it opened ..You should make Women Crates...Nah just kidding..Best gift ever hands down. My husband was quite surprised! I got this for him as an Anniversary gift. First of all -- he loved prying open that crate. he's a jerky lover, so he was taken by surprise when he saw the many types of jerky in this set. He loved trying each and every one of them, and sharing them with us!You can't go wrong with this unique gift!

I searched all over for a 'wood' gift for our 5th Anniversary and happened to come across this website. My husband received the crate, at work, and was intrigued from the get go and once he opened it he was excited to see all of the exotic jerky. This is a great gift!

Also, I placed my order on a Saturday and must have skipped the business name section for delivery. I called the company on Sunday and they were closed but I was able to leave a message, which was amazing in itself. I did not expect a call back and figured I would have to call again on Monday, however, later Sunday I received a call from the company (even though they were not open) and they helped to rectify the situation right away. It has been a long time since I have received as great of customer service as I did with this company.

What do you get for someone who has everything and when he finds something he wants he buys it leaving nothing for a gift? MAN CRATES! One of the best gifts. My husband loved the concept and the variety. This site will always be saved in my favorites!

First, let me say the product itself was awesome. The crate was adorable, and my husband wants to keep it to store junk in it, in the garage. Lol.

In regards to the customer service, I will admit I was bummed when it came and it was addressed to me, rather than my husband. I purposely wanted it to happen that way because he NEVER gets anything in the mail and always looks a little sad when I get some kind of a package or something I ordered. Obviously, NOT a big deal but it has been a rough couple of days and when he handed me the box saying "you" got something in the mail, I was like WHAT?!?!?

So, I fired off an e-mail honestly not expecting any kind of feedback. I just vented. However I got an e-mail back in like 2 hours apologizing for the mistake and they made it right!! That was really awesome. Again, completely surprised by it because they just didn't have to do all that.

Will definitely order gifts from here in the future!

Always looking for something out of the ordinary as a gift for my husband and this item did not let me down! Item arrived promptly on his birthday and was exactly as described. My brother sent me one for my birthday. I love it, the whole concept is awesome. I've only sampled a few of the jerkys so far like the buffalo & boar, so far it has a great flavor. I would recommend these to anyone.

I purchased this for my dad for father's day; I also had it wrapped in duct tape. I have never seen such a big smile on my dad's face. The fact that he had to use his pocket knife to open the duck tape was perfect. It took him a while to pry the crate open; he and his friend (who was visiting when it arrived- making it even more perfect) were wondering the whole time what could possibly be inside. After he opened it, my dad sampled the jerky and loved it so much he hid it so no one else would eat it! haha! I will DEFINITELY be purchasing other gifts for him from man crates.com!

It was awesome my Dad absolutely loved it. The jerky tastes great and it was interesting trying Kangaroo, wild boar was my favorite. He had fun trying to open it, prying it open with the crow bar. Only down side is some of the packages had only a small amount of jerky but other than that I look forward to buying another man crate in the future!

Loved the variety of different meat snacks...My husband put hinges on the top and now has a cool storage box.

All of the jerky was A-MAZ-ING. The kids got this for their dad for Father's Day and it was well received. He had fun using the crowbar to open the box. Almost all of the jerky was devoured within a couple days. Will definitely be ordering something like this again!

I got this crate for my dad who loves jerky but hates paying for it! What a perfect gift for the guy who has everything. He loved the duck taped box and loved using the mini crowbar. I can't wait to get him one for Christmas!
